We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and payment information when you create an account. We also collect usage data — which features you use and when — to improve the product. We do not sell your data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the NicheMatcher service, send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts), respond to support requests, and improve the platform. We do not use your data to train AI models.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Neon PostgreSQL (SOC 2 Type II, encryption at rest and in transit). Authentication is handled by Clerk. We apply role-based access control and audit logging to all data access.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us at privacy@nichematcher.com. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Clerk (authentication), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), and Stripe (payments). Each processes your data only as necessary to provide their service.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data in machine-readable format. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@nichematcher.com.
